The dials of the Swatch 1984 Bioceramic ROUGE & NOIR and the 1984 Bioceramic YEL_RACE both take the boldly colorful graphic look of the ’80s in different directions. The ROUGE & NOIR pairs an ultra-legible black and white base dial with an inner 24-hour scale, along with a bright and cheerful handset in red, blue, and yellow. The YEL_RACE’s approach is splashier and more complex, with a racy red and white patterned outer ring flanked by accents in red, gray, and bright green.
Both the Swatch 1984 Bioceramic ROUGE & NOIR and the 1984 Bioceramic YEL_RACE use accurate and reliable quartz movements, and are paired with brightly colored bio-sourced rubber straps that flow handsomely into the case designs. These straps, rendered in blazing red for the ROUGE & NOIR and case-matching yellow for the YEL_RACE, keep the classic ’80s Swatch silhouette intact while providing more durability, comfort, and lightness than ever before. The ROUGE & NOIR and YEL_RACE carry MSRPs of $90 and $80, respectively, for a total giveaway prize value of $170.
