Patek Philippe

Patek Philippe is a producer of high-end Swiss luxury watches, owned and directed by the Stern family since 1932. The current president of Patek Philippe is Thierry Stern. Patek Philippe is considered to be an independent watch brand that does not belong to any of the large luxury groups such as Richemont, LVMH, or Swatch but rather operates independently from them.

Patek Philippe, founded in 1839 under the name Patek, Czapek & Cie., was renamed Patek & Cie. in 1845 and renamed again as Patek, Philippe & Cie. in 1851. The watchmaker is one of the oldest watch manufacturers in the world with an uninterrupted history, a feat watch collectors respect greatly. Throughout its history, Patek Philippe has produced watches for royalty, presidents, authors, and celebrities with the brand’s watches appearing in the collections of Pope Pius IX, Albert Einstein and Jay-Z.
