Nick English and Giles English founded Bremont in 2002 in England. With the English family’s close ties to aviation, including flying and maintaining World War II-vintage aircraft, aviation serves as the main source of inspiration for the design and functionality of Bremont watches. The watch company is also a long-time supporter of armed services through its work with Help for Heroes, The Royal British Legion and the UK Team for the Invictus Games, culminating in the launch of the HMAF (His Majesty's Armed Forces) range of Bremont watches.
In 2021, the company opened the Bremont Manufacturing & Technology Centre, known as "The Wing", a 35,000-square-foot manufacturing facility where it machines various watch components and assembles timepieces. The company expects The Wing to eventually manufacture up to 50,000 watches annually. Bremont has partnered with fellow English company Williams Racing, outfitting the Formula-1 team’s drivers with Bremont timepieces.
The Bremont Altitude is a pilot watch collection, the Bremont Supermarine comprises dive watches, the Bremont Mayfair is a more elegant and luxurious line, while the Bremont Motorsport and Armed Forces stand for collections inspired by racing and military use, respectively.
Bremont’s most popular watches include the MBII “ultimate pilot’s watch” inspired by Martin Baker, a world-renowned manufacturer of ejection seats used in fighter and training aircraft, the Supermarine S2000 and S300 range of dive watches, as well as limited edition timepieces produced in collaboration with Jaguar, commemorating the country’s famous car manufacturer’s vintage cars in their dial, case, and movement designs.
For watch enthusiasts, the most popular Bremont products tend to fall within the Altitude and Supermarine collections.
