When Tissot debuted its now-expansive PRX in 2021, it was shockingly well received: a quartz-powered high-value timepiece that offered an alternative to the six-figure integrated bracelet watches on the market. Now, integrated bracelets are so ubiquitous as to seem trite, but Tissot was ahead of the curve and has continued to keep the PRX fresh with a rainbow of color, case materials, and limited editions. Previously available in 40mm and 35mm case sizes, Tissot has recently expanded the PRX collection with the new Tissot PRX 25mm, which it’s offering in five different models.

Tissot recognizes that the days of oversized 45mm watches are fast fading (if they haven’t already disappeared). The Swiss brand debuted the vintage-inspired PRX in 2021 with a 40mm case and released a 35mm version just a year later. The introduction of the Tissot PRX 25mm enables even more people to enjoy the exceptional design and wearability of the collection. The 25mm models take the proven proportions of the PRX design and shrink them down for an elevated sense of sophistication.

The 25mm case features the same crisp finishing dominated by well-defined brushing and accented with polished chamfers. The design is at once vintage and modern, inspired by a classic 1980s Tissot model but equally suited for contemporary tastes. While there are three options in full 316L stainless steel, one option offers a rose-gold tone PVD bezel and an even more luxuriant offering sees the entire case receive a rose-gold tone PVD coating. Perhaps most surprisingly, Tissot has maintained the sapphire crystal and 100m of water resistance of the larger models. The crown, while sized down to maintain balance, remains functional.

At 9.05mm thin, the PRX is ideally complemented by its bracelet. Seamlessly transitioning from the case, the bracelet features tapering flat links with the same prominent brushed finish and polished bevels. The branded butterfly clasp ensures a comfortable and secure fit on every wrist. The result is a refined silhouette that delicately traces the wrist.

To debut the Tissot PRX 25mm, the brand has rolled out five different dials across two configurations. In steel, the watch is appointed with your choice of mother-of-pearl, ice blue, or black. The two-tone steel and rose-gold tone also features the white mother-of-pearl dial, while the full rose-gold PVD model is paired with a dial the brand calls “Nude,” a color-matched rose-gold-like tone. The mother-of-pearl dials exude an opalescent richness that further enhances the PRX, while the Ice Blue and Nude dials feature a radiant sunray finish. The black conveys a simple grace, and like the Nude dial, is appointed with triple-plotted diamond hour markers instead of the baton markers featured on the other models.

Across all the models, Tissot has smartly eliminated the date, which would create clutter, and uses the same incredible handset, with a brushed top and polished bevels with Super-LumiNova for low-light legibility. The Tissot PRX 25mm is powered by a Swiss quartz movement with an end-of-life indicator. Choosing this movement allowed the brand to ensure that the PRX’s propositions were maintained while still offering the reliability and accuracy of a Swiss movement.

The Tissot PRX collection demonstrates the Swiss brand’s ability to deliver unrivaled value without compromising quality while offering modern, attractive timepieces. Whether it’s a blackout carbon model, a light blue textured dial, or even a digital display, the PRX seems to have everyone covered. Now, the Tissot PRX 25mm adds more variety and another size, meaning even more people will be able to enjoy the spectacular PRX. The Tissot PRX 25mm is priced from $315 USD for the Ice Blue in steel to $515 USD for the rose-gold PVD. For more information, please visit the Tissot website
