Does that special someone in your life love technology and have a fascination with everything mechanical? If so, the 42mm Freelancer RW1212 Skeleton would make a great gift. For Formal Occasions: Freelancer Men’s Calibre RW1212 Automatic
Many watch hobbyists start out acquiring technical (or tool) watches. This often leaves a collection with a dress watch-sized hole in it. Even if they don’t dress up very often, it’s valuable to have the right piece for a special event. If this describes someone on your shopping list, the 42mm Freelancer Men’s Calibre RW1212 Automatic is worth a look. Its clean, two-hand design and mix of polished and brushed surfaces make it a watch that is subtle but with a bit of pop for that special event. It features the same case dimensions and movement as its skeletonized stablemate. A smaller section of the dial is open-worked on this model, though, exposing only the gold-colored balance wheel and the bridge support. With a mother of pearl dial, rose-gold PVD coating, and 62 diamonds surrounding its dial, the Maestro Ladies is a great choice as an elegant timepiece. A deep-blue alligator grained calf leather strap pairs well with the blue night sky on the moonphase display. Blued hands and a blue lacquered cap on the crown tie everything together. Calibre RW4280 (Sellita SW280-1 elaboré grade) provides 38 hours of power reserve and allows the entire watch to be less than 10mm-thick.

Again, a blue alligator pattern strap pairs with blue hands and the deep blue sky in the moonphase display. Here, however, the case is larger at 39.5mm and is finished in polished stainless steel. It is also under 10mm-thick, however, meaning it will easily slip under a dress cuff. Attractive Roman numerals indicate the hours, and the dial features a beautiful array of patterns. Instead of an iridescent mother of pearl dial, it features a wave pattern at the center surrounded by concentric circles for the hour track.
