After the left-field release and massive popularity of 2023’s Oris ProPilot X Kermit Edition, it seemed only a matter of time before the independent Swiss brand launched another unique Muppets-themed timepiece. Now, at the start of 2025, the wait is over as Oris unveils its tribute to the world’s most famous porcine movie star: Miss Piggy. With a fabulously pink color palette, a diamond-set dial, and a playful “peekaboo” caseback window showcasing Miss Piggy herself, the new Oris ProPilot X Miss Piggy Edition is a suitably fun-loving and fashionable continuation of the brand’s ongoing relationship with the Muppets.
In keeping with its more feminine inspiration, the Oris ProPilot X Miss Piggy Edition uses a downsized version of the angular, high-tech ProPilot X case design. Measuring 34mm wide and crafted from stainless steel, this new take on Oris’ modern sports watch should be brighter on the wrist than its titanium counterparts. Rather than the 39mm ProPilot X’s fully brushed treatment, the Miss Piggy Edition augments its brushed, unchamfered lugs and sharply faceted crown guards with a finely polished split bezel in images. This jet turbine-inspired bezel layout is a ProPilot X calling card, but in this smaller, more ornamental guise it lends the Miss Piggy Edition a markedly different personality. Like its larger counterparts, though, the Miss Piggy Edition offers a solid 100 meters of water resistance. Rather than the broad sapphire display caseback of the 39mm variant, though, this model uses a unique miniature mineral glass aperture. Although it’s far too small to give a clear picture of the movement within, this window operates as the Miss Piggy Edition’s party piece, as the printed rotor moves within the case, it occasionally reveals a small image of Miss Piggy herself framed in the window.
For the dial of the Oris ProPilot X Miss Piggy Edition, there was really only one suitable color choice: pink. This isn’t just any pink in images, however. The main dial surface is rendered in a deep, almost magenta-esque matte hot pink hue that should positively demand attention on the wrist. Given how impactful this hue is, Oris wisely pares back the other elements of the ProPilot X dial for a more minimal look. The ruby-hued applied hour indices are flanked by nearly tone-on-tone dial text and a fully sterilized outer chapter ring, drawing visual focus towards the main dial surface in images. Of course, the other major draw to this dial is the 12 o’clock hour marker. To capture the glamorous style of Miss Piggy, Oris replaces the usual applied index with a baguette-cut diamond. When combined with the focused, minimal hot pink backdrop, it’s a punchy, stylish, and attention-grabbing layout in photos.

Oris powers the ProPilot X Miss Piggy Edition with the Oris 531 automatic movement. Documentation on the 531 is rather scarce, but given its performance figures and the watch’s price point, it’s safe to assume that this is a Sellita-based powerplant. A decent 42-hour power reserve and a 28,800 bph beat rate complete a rather standard spec sheet. Oris pairs the watch with a unique take on the ProPilot X’s signature bracelet. For the Miss Piggy Edition, the brand adds brightly polished outer links, which deftly complement the newly polished case elements in initial photos. Like previous ProPilot X models, a seatbelt buckle-style folding clasp completes the design.
Since 2023, Oris’s partnership with the Muppets franchise has fostered one of the most offbeat, conversation-starting, and flat-out fun product offerings in modern watchmaking, and the new Oris ProPilot X Miss Piggy Edition continues that strong start with a fittingly glamorous new presentation.
