If you look at an aerial view of Place Vendôme in Paris, you’ll immediately recognize that March LA.B borrowed its eight-sided shape to create the cases of the Mansart watch collection. While the “LA” in March LA.B is for Los Angeles, the “B” stands for “Biarritz,” the French city that is home to Milady Beach. The 28mm case of the new Milady Mansart models is a new size for the line, sitting nicely between the petite 26mm Lady Mansart and the flagship 34mm Mansart model. They’re 33mm lug-to-lug and just 6mm thick, and March LA.B has made the Milady Mansart watches available in stainless steel, PVD gold, or two-tone. The thinness of the new Milady Mansart watches is thanks, in part, to the Swiss-made Ronda 762 quartz movement inside the cases that power the two-handed dials. The battery life is about 60 months long, complete with an EOL indicator. The watches are water-resistant to 50 meters.

Depending on the case material finish, dials can be sunburst green or textured chevron in either gold or white. The gold chevron dial is particularly striking, especially when paired with the PVD gold stainless steel bracelet. Again, March LA.B offers the choice of a super- supple bracelet or an assortment of leather straps, which, when paired with the case and dial options, results in plenty of variants to choose from. Go dressy with the nine-link bracelet, classic with a leather strap, or take advantage of the interchangeable system to switch them out without needing any tools.

With their angular cases, textured dials, and fancy integrated bracelets, the Milady Mansart watches look like they’re straight from the ’70s, which, as you know, is a favorite era of modern watch buyers.
