Premier Silicon Valley watch and jewelry retailer Stephen Silver graciously invites aBlogtoWatch audience members to RSVP for a rare opportunity to meet the founder and CEO of Ressence watches, Mr. Benoit Mintiens. This is also a commercial debut of the much anticipated Ressence Type 2 E-Crown watch, which combines an entirely traditional mechanical mechanism with an entirely bespoke connected electronic module. The Ressence product debut and founder meet & greet event will take place from 4-6 pm on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at the Stephen Silver (SH Silver) store located at the Rosewood Sand Hill center in Menlo Park, California.
An authorized dealer for popular Ressence luxury timepieces with their chic, contemporary style, Stephen Silver is proud to welcome guests to meet Mr. Mintiens during his first-ever professional visit to the United States. Meeting the watchmaker engineer behind Ressence is the ideal way to appreciate the brand’s distinctive and unrivaled approach to mechanical watchmaking. Mr. Mintiens adopts his “Beyond Hands” philosophy to dial design, resulting in a deceptively simple timepiece collection on the wrist, which happens to contain a host of exclusive and patented technology.
Entirely mechanical with but nods to modern user-interface themes, Ressence continues to delight horology and design fans across the company’s Type 1, Type 2, Type 3, and Type 5 product collections. Stephen Silver will be featuring the latest innovation from Ressence, which is the Type 2 watch that features Ressence’s patented E-Crown technology (also known as a “Smart Crown”). The Type 2 is a fascinating merger of a purely mechanical watch movement that is joined by an electronic controller module which sets the correct time among and includes connectivity features. With the Type 2 E-Crown watch, Ressence has not only presented an entirely new system for operating a traditional timepiece, but has invented a satisfying combination of mechanical watch romance with the sophistication of cutting-edge technology.
Ressence will also demonstrate how its also exclusive ROCS (Ressence Orbital Convex System) time-telling module is used inside of the watches to create the unique dial displays, which are entirely exclusive to the brand. Ressence founder Benoit Mintiens is excited to meet local Silicon Valley watch-lovers, aBlogtoWatch audience members, and clients of the Stephen Silver boutique.
