The clasp features a built-in micro-adjustment mechanism for fine-tuning the size on the fly, and the entire bracelet can be easily removed with quick-release tabs, allowing for endless strap combinations.
The Canton’s dial brings charm and character to the sophisticated case. Available in black, silver, green, or sky blue, the cross-hatched pattern of the dial receives a sunray finish, allowing it to capture light to highlight its intricate design. At 12 o’clock, branding is kept at a minimum, with the Texas Lone Star logo applied just below the marker. Opposite the logo is a beveled date window with a color-matched date wheel, ensuring that this useful complication does not mar the symmetry of the dial.
The hands and markers on the Canton are rendered in a balance of polished and brushed finishes, echoing the details of the case and allowing for high legibility in any condition. This superlative legibility is supplemented by Super-LumiNova BGW9 applied evenly across the dial elements, shining brightly in low-light situations. The final accent of the dial is the seconds hand’s counterbalance, a red, white, and blue reminder of the brand’s American and Texas roots.
Beneath the sapphire caseback crystal, Jack Mason has put the Swiss Made automatic La Joux-Perret G100 on full display. Representing a significant move from the brand, the G100 is just the second time Jack Mason has used a Swiss movement (the first being on the dressier Ellum). The G100 offers proven architecture with exceptional specs, including a 68-hour power reserve at 28,800 vph and an accuracy of -/+7 seconds per day. Jack Mason has opted for the top grade soignée finishing, which brings blued screws and Côtes de Genève, and the movement is completed by a tungsten rotor with gold printing, including the final instance of the Jack Mason logo.
