WatchTime New York is set to make its triumphant return as a live, in-person event this month, uniting collectors, enthusiasts, and currently, 27 confirmed watch brands at Midtown Manhattan’s Gotham Hall once more following last year’s hiatus.
The sixth edition of the show will span three days — from Friday, October 22, through Sunday, October 24 —with a cocktail reception on opening night and panels and presentations throughout the weekend. The event is being produced by the WatchTime team and presented in partnership with cocktail-party sponsors Tourneau | Bucherer and BMW. Admission is open to the public, and while Friday has already sold out, tickets for Saturday and Sunday are still available for purchase, here.
Importantly, this year, the show’s format is expanding from just Friday and Saturday, as in years past, to three exciting and unique days of watches and conversations. While the change will not only further ensure ample space for social distancing, it has also allowed WatchTime to expand the show’s popular panel discussion series and its incredible meeting of the minds between some of the watch world’s foremost collectors, designers, industry executives, and other leading figures.
Brands, too, are excited to return to WatchTime New York, with each ready to showcase their latest and most popular novelties of the past year, including many rare models that have yet to be seen publicly and in the metal since their release. Several brands are expected to unveil exclusive limited-edition watches for the very first time, continuing the tradition of WatchTime New York serving as a key staging ground for brands launching new horological products to the U.S. and throughout the world.
Participating watch brands this year include A. Lange & Söhne, Armin Strom, Arnold & Son, Bell & Ross, Blancpain, Bovet, Breguet, Carl F. Bucherer, Chopard, Czapek, De Bethune, G-Shock, Glashütte Original, Grand Seiko, Greubel Forsey, Jaquet Droz, Laurent Ferrier, L. Leroy, Massena LAB, MB&F, MeisterSinger, Montblanc, Norqain, Oris, Seiko, Vulcain, and Zenith. Leading pre-owned market players eBay and WatchBox will also be joining this year.
