As the smaller and less purpose-built version of the brand’s flagship professional dive watch, the TITONI Seascoper 300 is ideally suited to serve as the canvas for non-utilitarian colorways and configurations. However, since the Seascoper 300 was just introduced a couple of years ago in 2022, the series is only now starting to include some of the classic styles that are often considered cornerstone offerings within the industry. For its latest release of 2024, the independent Swiss brand has added gold-plated components to its fan-favorite diver, and the new TITONI Seascoper 300 Bicolor watches represent a more dressy and luxurious expression of what is arguably one of the brand’s most universally appealing models.

From a fundamental design and construction standpoint, the new TITONI Seascoper 300 Bicolor watches are largely just two-tone versions of the original stainless steel Seascoper 300 models that were part of the collection’s launch when it first debuted in 2022. Unlike the limited-edition Seascoper 300 Color Block that features an entirely brushed case covered in a black DLC coating, the new Seascoper 300 Bicolor models are very much the two-tone equivalents of the standard-production models, and they feature brushed and polished stainless steel surfaces set against yellow gold-plated accenting components. Additionally, while all three versions of the TITONI Seascoper 300 Bicolor are fitted with gloss black dials, the models differ when it comes to the color of their ceramic bezels, and buyers have the option of black, blue, or TITONI’s signature shade of green, which is the version featured here.

Crafted from stainless steel, the case of the TITONI Seascoper 300 Bicolor offers the same dimensions as what can be found among its siblings, and it measures 42mm in diameter by 12.55mm thick, with a lug width of 20mm and an overall lug-to-lug profile of 52mm. Not including its bracelet, the weight of the Seascoper 300 Bicolor comes in at approximately 92 grams (or 193 grams if you factor in the bracelet and the entirety of its removable links). Similar to other Seascoper 300 models, a flat anti-reflective sapphire crystal furnishes the top of the case, and surrounding the crystal is a unidirectional rotating bezel fitted with a 60-minute timing insert made from ceramic. However, unlike their stainless steel siblings, the bezel rings on the new Seascoper 300 Bicolor models have been given a gold-plated finish, and on the version featured here, the bezel insert appears in the same muted shade of dark green that can be found throughout TITONI’s boxes and packaging materials.

As I’ve mentioned in previous reviews of TITONI’s various Seascoper 300 watches, the bezel action is surprisingly good across the series, and every example that I have personally handled has offered significantly more precise motion than what you typically get from divers at this price point. Operating with a satisfying 60-click action, the Seascoper 300’s bezel has virtually zero perceptible back-play whatsoever, and its ceramic insert features a simplified design that opts for simple hash marks in place of the Arabic numerals that can be found on the bezels fitted to the brand’s larger Seascoper 600 models. On the new two-tone TITONI Seascoper 300 Bicolor watches, the insert’s engraved scale is finished in gold to match the surrounding bezel ring, and just like other models from the Seascoper collection, a small luminous dot is embedded within the inverted triangle at the zero marker.

Unlike the Seascoper 600, which is the brand’s no-compromises dive watch, the TITONI Seascoper 300 foregoes the helium escape valve of its larger sibling to achieve a significantly thinner case profile. While this also results in half the depth rating, the Seascoper 300 still offers an ample 300 meters of water resistance, which should be more than enough to contend with anything short of saturation diving applications. Just like the rest of the collection, the Seascoper 300 Bicolor models feature a signed screw-down crown set between two guards at the 3 o’clock location, although the crown has been given a gold-plated finish to further lean into the watch’s two-tone aesthetic. Additionally, the caseback for the new Seascoper 300 Bicolor is identical to what can be found on the original models, and it features a solid screw-down design with a relief engraving of a porthole that has a mirror-polished center section in place of its window.

All three colorways of the two-tone TITONI Seascoper 300 Bicolor are fitted with the same dial, which offers an identical design and layout to what can be found among the other models from the Seascoper 300 lineup. Featuring a gloss black surface with applied luminous hour markers, crisp white printing, and a date window at the 3 o’clock location, the Seascoper 300’s dial closely adheres to the blueprint of a traditional dive watch, although the baton-shaped hour markers at the cardinal points appear in a tapered design to create a slightly more modern rendition of this familiar aesthetic. Similarly, the handset fitted to the Seascoper 300 Bicolor models also appears in the same partially skeletonized style that can be found throughout the rest of the collection; however, the hands have been given a gold-plated finish to match the frames for the hour markers and the applied TITONI logo at 12 o’clock.

Although TITONI produces stainless steel versions of the Seascoper 300 that are available with the same trio of bezel colors and fitted with black dials, the new Seascoper 300 Bicolor watches aren’t just two-tone versions of the existing models. Unlike the various stainless steel Seascoper 300 watches that have small pops of either red or orange on their depth ratings and seconds hands, the TITONI Seascoper 300 Bicolor models are entirely devoid of an additional accenting color, and this helps provide the new two-tone versions with a more refined and dressy overall appearance. Additionally, just like other models from the brand’s Seascoper lineup of divers, all of the hands and hour markers on the Seascoper 300 Bicolor watches receive an application of Super-LumiNova, which provides them with a bright blue-glowing display in the dark.

All of TITONI’s Seascoper watches feature COSC-certified movements, and powering the new Seascoper 300 Bicolor models is a chronometer-grade version of the Swiss-made Sellita Caliber SW200-1. With an operating frequency of 28,800vph (4 Hz) and a power reserve of approximately 38 hours, the Sellita SW200-1 offers fairly unremarkable specs compared to many of today’s in-house calibers, although it also represents an incredibly proven design, which has made it the single most commonly used Swiss automatic movement within the industry. Additionally, as the chronometer-grade version of this highly popular self-winding caliber, the Sellita SW200-1 movement used by the TITONI Seascoper 300 benefits from a couple of upgraded components compared to the standard-grade variety, and it also offers chronometer-certified timekeeping with an accuracy rating of -4/+6 seconds per day.

All of the TITONI Seascoper 300 Bicolor models are paired with three-link bracelets, and buyers can choose between a standard brushed steel finish or one with matching gold-plated center links. From a design and construction standpoint, the bracelet for the new Seascoper 300 Bicolor watches is identical to what can be found on the standard stainless steel models, and it tapers from 20mm at the lugs down to 18mm on the underside of the wrist, with a pin-and-collar setup securing its removable links. Additionally, the clasp for the bracelet operates with a double push-button release, and it includes an integrated extension system that is engaged by pressing the TITONI emblem located on the outside of its structure. With that in mind, one additional difference between the new Seascoper 300 Bicolor watches and previous models from the series is that small grooves have been added to the underside surface of the lugs, which has a noticeable impact on facilitating the process of removing and reattaching the bracelet.

While TITONI already offered a steel and gold version of its larger Seascoper 600 dive watch, the less professionally-oriented design of the Seascoper 300 feels like a much more natural pairing for an elevated two-tone aesthetic, and the new Seascoper 300 Bicolor models immediately claim the top spot as the most dressy models from the collection. With an official retail price of $1,900 USD, the TITONI Seascoper 300 Bicolor watches cost slightly more than their standard stainless steel counterparts, although the additional premium is fairly minimal since they feature gold-plated accents rather than solid gold components. Realistically speaking, a two-tone dive watch is hardly the most original aesthetic; however, the new Seascoper 300 Bicolor models represent an important step in the expansion of the series as it continues to transition toward becoming a fully-fledged collection.
