The most expensive watch on this list is also the one that is packed with complications. It features the time, 24 hr GMT hand, second GMT ring that jumps east or west (allowing for the tracking of three time zones), plus a 12-hour chronograph and the date (indicated by a skeletonized date disc, no less). The COSC-certified CFB 1091.1 movement started life as an ETA 2894 chronograph but has Bucherer’s modifications applied. Additionally, the way that the second GMT ring is adjusted is unique. Ceramic is used for the bezel (a scratch-resistant material for the most scratch-prone area). Finally, titanium and rubber are used for the crown and chronograph pushers. Often, when watches from luxury fashion brands are marketed as “ladies'” watches, they are fairly unimpressive from a hobbyist standpoint. That is not the case with this Dior, however.
