Summer is in full swing and Christopher Ward has just unveiled the two latest versions of their flagship dive watch, the C60 Trident Diver. The Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro and C60 Trident Day Date are two COSC-certified dive watches that have also been released as limited editions. And, while the overall look and design might seem familiar, both models have been visually updated with subtle touches of color throughout the dial and bezel. Christopher Ward is also announcing the launch of their #TridentSummer campaign, which offers a chance to save 15% when purchasing any watch from the Trident collection.
The Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro and C60 Trident Day Date -like other watches in the collection – aim to offer watch enthusiasts great value in the way of design, execution, and features. In many ways, these newest models mark an evolution within the Trident line-up and bring COSC-certified timekeeping at an affordable price. This is all thanks to the COSC-grade Sellita SW200 in the C60 Trident Pro and ETA 2836 in the C60 Trident Day Date. Both of these movements offer time-tested reliability, serviceability, and top-notch performance for the wearer. Pair it all with the classic Trident aesthetic with a monochromatic theme and you have some of the most versatile models ever released by Christopher Ward.
Both of the watches feature brushed, marine-grade 316L stainless steel cases that measure in at a comfortable 43mm in diameter. Water resistance is 600m and though the cases are more contemporary in size, the 51.5mm lug-to-lug distance makes these watches appropriate for a range of wrist sizes. There are also a few unique red color touches that compliment the the dial’s white guilloche wave pattern. The first can be found at the 12 o’clock position on the durable unidirectional zirconia (ZrO2) ceramic bezel. The second can be seen on the seconds hand, which is completely finished in red along with its signature Christopher Ward Trident counter-balance.
These new aesthetic choices set the models apart from the rest and offer customers a chance to own a unique piece of Trident history. Looking at the dial, we find a high-contrast and complimentary design focus that matches perfectly with the brushed case and glossy bezel. There is also the inclusion of the classic Trident handset, which features Super-LumiNova that has also been applied generously on the indexes. To maintain its clean look, dial text has been kept to a minimum, with the standard Christopher Ward logo text at 9 o’clock and the chronometer designation and depth rating just above 6 o’clock. The Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro and C60 Trident Day Date divers also come with the choice of either a stainless steel bracelet, leather strap, NATO strap, or a high quality rubber strap.
As mentioned previously, you can save 15% on any Trident watch purchase by using the code “TRIDENT15” at checkout. This offer is valid for just one more day and also includes both the Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro and C60 Trident Day Date divers, which are now available for pre-order. The Christopher Ward C60 Trident Day Date is limited to 200 pieces in each dial color and the C60 Trident Pro is limited to just 100 pieces and prices range between $985 and $1,100. In addition to the discount offer, the campaign also offers you a chance to win £500 worth of Christopher Ward vouchers. To enter, simply post your best Christopher Ward Trident photo on Instagram and use the hashtag #TridentSummer. It’s that simple and the competition closes on August 31st, 2017. christopherward.com
