Beloved Austrian brand Carl Suchy & Söhne, long known for its exquisitely designed table clocks and elegant dress watches, is bringing its full collection to Los Angeles on October 24th, 2024 from 6-8pm in collaboration with RedBar LA. Intended as a casual get-together, this is a rare opportunity to try on the watches and talk with Robert Punkenhofer, owner and CEO of the brand. Due to the limited capacity, all attendees must RSVP at [email protected] to confirm space. The event is free of charge.
Participants will be able to dive deep into Carl Suchy & Söhne’s three collections — Belvedere, Waltz N°1, and Table Waltz Tourbillon. aBlogtoWatch has covered each of these, most recently the new colorways of the Belvedere sports collection (Champagne and Bordeaux). Powered by the brand’s Caliber CSS201 automatic movement, based on the core architecture of the Dubois Dépraz DD90000, all watches in this collection have a power reserve of approximately 42 hours and water resistance to 100 meters.
aBlogtoWatch was also among the first to cover the release of the now-classic Waltz N°1 collection, released in 2018, a minimalist, formal, contemporary watch with a bisected dial that lends an appealing asymmetry and appeals to design and architecture aficionados.
The brand’s very limited Table Watch Tourbillon Clocks have more than 50 exclusively manufactured components and are the epitome of Viennese style that began more than 200 years ago.
It will be a genuine treat to experience these collections in person in Los Angeles on October 24th, 2024 from 6-8pm. Remember, RSVPs are required: [email protected]. Don’t miss your chance to handle these beauties and to talk with Mr. Punkenhofer in person over a cocktail.
