Where to buy watches in Bratislava, Slovakia?

Today, we check in with Sheron Jewelry which is located in Bratislava, the capital of the Slovak Republic. Not to be confused with Slovenia, the Slovak Republic was once part of the former Czechoslovakia (along with their neighbor Czechia, née the Czech Republic). Located at the southwestern edge of Slovakia on the Danube river (about an hour away from Vienna by car), Bratislava received its contemporary name in 1919. Beforehand, it was mostly known in English by its German name, Pressburg. Whatever name you use, this historic city has been inhabited for over 7,000 years!

Sheron Jewelry opened in 1991 and has sold watches since they opened in this capital city. They are actively involved in their community as evidenced by the wide range of events in which they participate and sponsor.

Sheron: The most popular for Slovak people are Rolex watches, but we have a very good reputation also for Breitling, Chopard, and Omega. And Ulysse Nardin, with their luxury timepieces, is very popular with watch lovers.

ABTW: Do you serve mostly locals or tourists, or is it a good mix? Also, what percentage of your customers would you call “knowledgeable watch collectors?”

Sheron: Mostly local, but also Chinese tourists from abroad. The percentage of our customers who are local is about 70%, and 30% from abroad.

ABTW: What is Bratislava best known for? What do visitors have to do, see, or eat while there?

Sheron: Every visitor should take a pleasant walk exploring the center of Bratislava. There are a lot of statues and public works of art to see. For example our unusual “man in the manhole” sculpture!

We also have some grand buildings. The Bratislava castle is, without doubt, the most prominent landmark in Bratislava. You can go inside or just sit on the café terrace and enjoy the views.

We have really nice historical buildings, many beautiful castles near the main city. And everyone must try walking by the river Danube.

Our Nový Most bridge is one of the main sights in Bratislava. It has an interesting construction and connects the old and new parts of town (old town and Petržalka). It also has a UFO-style restaurant and observation desk. This is only some of what visitors can experience in Bratislava.

ABTW: As a business, do you sponsor or participate in any local events, watch-related or otherwise?

Sheron: We are a long-term partner of Trend Regatta – an event in the heart of Dalmatia.

We cooperate in and are an inseparable part of Bratislava Fashion Days.

We feel that our watches and jewelry show there is really unbelievable. We are also a proud partner of the Slovak Woman of the Year competition.

Also, guests can admire exclusive sports watch pieces during the Auto Moto Show where Sheron is a permanent partner in the exclusive premium cars part of the exhibition.

ABTW: What are some of the watch brands you are known for carrying? If you could pick a watch brand or model that epitomizes the culture or style of Bratislava what would it be?

Sheron: We are known for our unique timepieces and high jewelry brand weeks which we organize for our VIP clients and for every watch lover. In addition to the basic collection, our guests can see the unique pieces and the best from the world of watches and jewellery. It’s a mix between Rolex and Breitling. But for those who want a completely different choice, there is Ulysse Nardin. We are trying to inspire people to get what is appropriate for them along with current trends.
