3. ROLEX OYSTER PERPETUAL 39 114300 BLACK OR WHITE DIAL WATCHES HANDS-ON
I thought Rolex really hit it out of the park in 2015 when they launched the new Reference 114300 Oyster Perpetual. The size, the design, and the various dial colors were extremely refreshing. The grape dial variant, in particular, was my favorite. Three years later, Rolex has introduced two more models to the lineup and they come in more conventional black and white dial finishes. These are easily more conservative watches, but they are also more versatile. More importantly, however, they still represent tremendously good value and should be highly sought after. Have a closer look at them here.

Casio really nailed it with the new G-Shock GMW-B 5000 D-1. Essentially, this is a full-metal version of the immensely popular G-Shock 5000-series. Why is this such a big deal? To begin, this is the first full-metal 5000-series G-Shock. Secondly, the 5000-series is so loved because it closely resembles the timeless DW-5000C from 1983. This is a potent combination that G-Shock fans will find hard to resist.

However, the takeaway is this: the future of Baselworld is shaky and it is a sign that the watch industry is ready for a great change. Nevertheless, Baselworld still witnessed a good number of interesting new watches and here are 10 of the best that we saw this year.

6. PATEK PHILIPPE NAUTILUS 5711/1A-010 WATCH REVIEW
This is a biggie. The Nautilus Reference 5711 might not be the priciest Patek, but it is sure as hell one of the most desirable and quite hard to acquire. It is almost never in stock and the waiting list is said to be years long. So what exactly is it about the Nautilus 5711 that makes it so popular and sought after? Is it because it was designed by the great Genta? Whatever it may be, here’s an in-depth look at what is easily one of the most popular sports watches in the world.
